It would be more appropriate to answer the question of what lighting is and how it should be.
Illumination occurs when a beam of light from a light source hits the object and reaches the eye. In other words, the light source does not need to come directly to the eyes; in fact, the light coming directly from the light source to the eyes will tire the eyes. This is not a desired situation. It is also a negative situation in terms of job security.
To summarize, appropriate illumination is achieved by directing a sufficiently powerful light source only to the place that is desired to be illuminated. To summarize;
- Appropriate lighting should be provided according to the work to be done and the area.
- The lighting provided should not tire the eyes, even for long periods of time.
- The light should not shine directly into the eyes, but should be directed towards the surface to be illuminated.
- Light colors close to natural daylight should be preferred.
- In a good lighting application, the light should only illuminate the area that needs to be illuminated.
- 6000k (White) #L LED light should be preferred in places where reading and writing are frequently done, such as libraries and offices. Since it is a 6000K, White LED light source, it is less tiring on the eyes.
- Even though they do not affect employee health, light sources that consume low energy should be preferred. Light sources such as LEDs, which consume low energy, do not harm the country, workplace and home economy, and contribute to keeping the temperature of the environment constant by not producing unnecessary heat.
